Treasure chest Gudon – where nature meets culture

Tradition in the Isarco Valley in South Tyrol: take a trip back in time in Gudon! Gudon has a lot to offer for all of your senses. The eye indulges in coloured costumes highly “en vogue” in baroque times,  but still up to date among the young inhabitants. As an expression of South Tyrolean folk culture, the costumes are fashionable and very popular in occasion of special events (folk festivals, processions...). The folk band of Gudon has been founded in the 19th century and is still very alive and playing! 2000 was the year of its 2000th anniversary.
